2009 ECU Library Paraprofessional Conference

March 12, 2009

The SPA Assembly Executive Board would like to invite all paraprofessionals and professionals to present at the J. Y. Joyner Library Paraprofessional Conference held at East Carolina University on May 15, 2009.  The theme for this year’s conference, our sixth, is The Green Paraprofessional: Repurposing Libraries in a Cost Conscious Economy.

This year will again feature four hour-long sessions with the lunch break providing time for poster sessions.  All told, the conference will provide a great opportunity to “dry run” your presentations and poster sessions before ALA, NCLA, or other conference.

If you are interested in presenting, please submit a brief proposal to Catherine Tingelstad (tingelstadc@ecu.edu) by Friday, March 20, 2009.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and we sincerely hope you contribute to this wonderful event.
